To ensure the greatest possible enjoyment from your furniture and the longest lifespan, it is important that it is properly looked after. When solid wood furniture is correctly maintained and exposed to daylight over the years, the wood will acquire a beautiful patina. As wood is a living natural product, colour variations and knots, as well as lines in the finished furniture may occur. Solid wood is a living material that is affected by daylight, temperature and humidity. The ideal relative humidity for solid wood tables is between 30% and 60%.

Solid Wood Care Guide

Solid wood is a natural, durable, and luxurious material that connects us to nature. Each piece is unique, with its own character, and develops a beautiful patina over time. With the right care, it will last for generations.

Daily Care

  • With a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratches.
  • With a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners.
  • Use coasters and wipe spills right away to prevent stains, swelling, or warping.

Protecting Your Wood

  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading and drying.
  • Keep away from heat sources and areas with extreme humidity changes to prevent cracks or loose joints.

Seasonal Maintenance

  • Oil oiled-wood furniture 1–2 times a year to preserve the protective layer and colour. We use Rubio Monocoat (choose the right colour).
  • For light scratches, sand gently with 180-grit paper/sponge, then re-oil.
  • Always sand evenly across the surface; avoid spot treatment to prevent uneven colouring.

Leather Care Guide

While extremely durable and stain-resistant, leather is still a natural material. Heat, cold, moisture, and light can affect its patina over time — but with proper care, it will stay beautiful for generations.

When new, leather feels tight, but it will naturally relax and form soft folds within the first month of use. Avoid spills, especially fatty foods, and never use washing-up liquid or harsh cleaners.

Daily Cleaning

  • Wipe the surface with a clean, soft, undyed cloth.
  • If slightly soiled, use a damp, well-wrung cloth.

Special Cleaning for Pigmented Leather

For deeper stains, use a mild soap foam: mix ¼ dl natural, colourless soap flakes with 1 litre warm water, whip until foamy, and let cool. Use only the foam with a soft cloth — never soak the leather.

Dry immediately with a clean, undyed cloth, then polish with a soft cotton cloth. Always clean the entire surface, not just one spot, to avoid marks or colour changes.

Fabric Care Guide

All our fabrics are stain-resistant and fire-resistant, offering exceptional durability without compromising comfort or style.

They are also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning they have been independently tested for harmful substances and meet international safety standards.

With the right care, they will stay beautiful for years, even in high-use environments.

Daily Care

  • With a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris.
  • Never rub, as this can push stains deeper into the fibres.

Removing Stains

  • Use clean water and blot with a paper towel or soft cloth.
  • Use a microfiber cloth with water and mild soap, then rinse with clean water and blot dry.
